At its premier event SIG NEXT, SIG SAUER unveiled a new era of performance with the P385 pistol

NEWINGTON, N.H., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SIG SAUER, an industry-leading manufacturer of cutting-edge firearms, electro-optics, ammunition, and advanced concepts, introduced today the all-new P385 pistol. Unveiled at the premier SIG NEXT event, the SIG SAUER P385 delivers a dramatically reduced felt recoil for a softer, flatter, and faster shooting experience and provides maximum modularity with its innovative new fire control unit (FCU).

Built with performance at its core, the P385 features the new SIG Recoil Dampening System, a low bore axis, and a precision cut carbon steel barrel for extreme accuracy. As a result, muzzle rise is reduced by 20 percent or more, depending on the specific P385 model. Along with its new FCU, the P385 includes a new SIG SAUER Trigger Block for a smooth, clean trigger press and pairs with the new MAGSTRAP grip module for easy customization both in grip length and hand size.

Available in black and coyote brown, all models of the new striker fired pistol are SIG-LOC optic-ready, feature fully ambidextrous controls, and have an optional manual thumb safety. The P385 will be available in stores this fall and early winter with the lineup including the P385-MACH3D, P385-COMP, P385-FULL, P385-CARRY, and P385-COMPACT.

During SIG NEXT, SIG SAUER unveiled an expansion to its successful P211, which now includes the P211-FULL and P211-CARRY. The two new P211 pistols feature a polymer grip module and aluminum frame and are built off the highly sought after SIG SAUER P211-GTO, GT5, and GT4 that initially launched last year at SIG NEXT.

Expanding the SIG SAUER optics lineup, SIG SAUER introduced the XRAY5, a category-defining 1x24MM optic that sets a new standard for durability, clarity, and intelligence. The Advanced Red Dot Sight is built on a solid-state architecture with a 225-dot rigid matrix with no moving parts to wear or drift and automatically responds to variable lighting conditions. Shooters can digitally zero in seconds with the XRAY5 mobile app, and the XRAY5 stores multiple profiles.
