"Peace, Love, Levis" brings back fond memories of a favorite pair of embroidered jeans I had when I was a teenager -- the kind that were worn, soft, and perfectly molded to the body. I think everyone had at least ONE great pair of jeans!
In this piece, I used a variety of clear stained glass to create the uneven texture of worn denim. I also used iridescent ovals and mirror to create movement. The millefiori adds a playful, feminine touch. The grout color is custom blended and not entirely removed from the surface to enhance the many different textures of the glass.
