Memories of spring afternoons spent with a bamboo fishing pole at my parent's garden pond inspired the theme of this mosaic. The time spent daydreaming while the cork bobbed was as precious as any fish caught. I used the mosaic mapping process to develop this mosaic. The design was drawn on wet clay, cut into puzzle mosaic pieces, fired, glazed, fired again, and reassembled. Glass was overlaid on the clay for the hat and water.
