Vicki Hanson-Burkhart began studying mosaic in 1997 while living in England, an immediate love of the craft emerged. She continued international study with master mosaicists Elaine M. Goodwin, and Emma Biggs in London and Orsoni School in Venice. Her love to learn keeps her on the student roster at the annual mosaic conferences where she has taken workshops with the top mosaic artists of the world.

Vicki’s work is founded on traditional andamento, thoughtful design, a love of color and a drive for excellence. Her work has been included in the Mosaic Arts International Juried Show and recognized in international competitions and locally.
